Trash Chair... Lawn Chair... Dog Toy... Master Piece

This Chair started out in the dumpster then turned into a lawn chair in my back yard. After a long day of studying I found that my lovely new puppy decided that the chair need a new look. The weather did a little refinishing as well but in the end, the chairs new look has raised the bar for everything else I will do in the future.
Please enjoy the transformation...

Modern Makeover

This 1950’s Ranch Style Home needs to be brought back to its intended design. The split level house has had many updates throughout it life and has been pulled away from its roots. By changing a few details and adding updates, this house can and will reflect the owner’s style of the Modern Ranch Home.

Working hard for the last month... the first of two presentations
Transforming A Laundry Room
This laundry room was added on by the previous owner. One quarter of a two car garage was walled off to form a laundry/ mud room. Well it has been collecting more mud then anything and the owner is ready for a face lift.

Enjoy my ideas

Stay tuned for the after

What Is Up And Coming For Duo Designs

Dear Followers
We have been working on and off towards our ultimate goal of owning our own business for three years now and we think we are ready to go from hobby to business. We are working on the paper work making it all legal with hopes to be up and running next month, September.

Our goals are to refinish furniture, building custom furniture, and commercial/residential interior design service and consulting. We are working on pricing at the moment and we are taking into account that we are not registered interior designers yet. Amber is working towards her registration and hopes to have it by January 2010 and Jessica is working towards a Masters in Architecture and getting her registration in interior design, this way Duo Designs will be more then just Interiors.

We also have more furniture and design work coming to the Blog soon so stay posted to see what we have been working on. Things like a desk and layout for a home office, a girls nursery, a retro buffet, and much more furniture.

If you have any questions or any comments or even any advice, please email us at duo.designs@yahoo.com

Thanks
